Climate Change

Many people talks a lot about climate change, but what was really this? Climate change was abnormal change in weather or an extended weather.

Many of us will not be easily respond to different climate because sometimes climate change brings us a lot of changes not only in our surroundings but also to the health of people. Because abnormal weather many people became sick. In the Philippines we are now suffering climate change. El Niño was an example of this. El Niño was a too long dry season. This causes a lot of change in our surroundings because sometimes the soil even cracks because of too much hotness. In some other countries El Niño makes them experience drought. These things are not good effect to us people so we must prevent this happenings to prevent also the bad things it will cause to us. 

2nd Grading Period

                Another grading period had past and there were again many lessons imparted to us by our teacher in ICT IV together with our practice teacher. This grading period I have discovered that notepad was useful too. Before all I know notepad was useless but I prove it wrong as this grading period started because notepad is used to edit and make a html file. I also found out that applying font color, font size and font face in notepad is very much different in Microsoft word because in MS Word you will just click on it but in notepad you still need to use different tags and tag attributes.

                There are also some problems we encountered; one of these was while we are doing our project. We were walking and visiting every museum here in Vigan just to find some literary works of Ilocano Poets. In order not to be very tired we were just enjoying in the stay in every museum we went through.

                Moving on, we will manage our time better for the next grading so that we will finish all our requirements for the subjects and for the others also.

Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Compitence

                  English was the universal language. If you use English you could easily understand what others say even though they are from other countries and continents like Europe and others.

                `Nowadays many people use English in the way they want to but there are now those they call jejemons and others. These people might encourage other people to use their language in that way English language is forgotten.

                We must still promote English so that we could communicate better to other people from other countries. Practicing English will help us also develop our skills in spelling and improve our grammar as well.

                Learning and promoting English language will help a lot of people in order to communicate better and easier.

"Scientricity: Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy"

          This days science is very famous because of the modern technology and without the help of science there will be no gadgets today like cellphones, laptops, tablets and others. Science helps a lot of people to make their works faster because of those modern technologies coming into our society.

          Scientricity helps science clubbers or the students to sustain energies so that there will still be energies to be used by the next generation. Students must tell every person also to conserve energies we still have now so that there will still be energies to be used and it will not be easily lost.

          Everybody must promote this to maintain energies so that there will still be many energies to be used by the next generation. 

My Teacher, My Hero!

Teachers are our parents when we are in school. They were the one teaching us all the lessons we need to learn. Some says that teachers are our key to success because without them there will be no accountants, engineers, lawyers, policemen, firemen and others.

A teacher teaches us how to read, write and count. These are not the only things teachers are teaching us. Some teachers teach us also values that we can use in our everyday lives. I know since Grade 1 you have encountered a lot of teachers also. I consider all those teachers my second parents because they not only teach us about Math, Science, English and others but they also guide us to be in the right path and they teach us also good morals.

Now, I am a fourth year high school student and during my high school life I’ve encountered so many teachers and in those teachers Mrs. Maria Theresa Redondo and Mrs. Elizabeth Quitoriano was the best. They change us a lot and make us realize all our mistakes. We love them both because even though we are noisy sometimes they are still patient and not scolding us.

During the first day of class all we know Mrs. Quitoriano was a terror teacher because when we are still in third year she was already scolding us because we are not cleaning the shed beside her classroom when we are doing things there but as the time pass by she became kind like she is our real mother. She always gives us advices and helps us with our problems. Now we can also play with her.

I know teaching was the hardest profession and being a teacher is carrying the biggest responsibility also because you must be the one to teach children how to read, write and count. I know even though a million of thanks is not enough for all the sacrifices you did thats why I salute you all OUR TEACHERS, OUR HEROES! 

Modern Hero!

          Nowadays its hard to find people who are kind and could be called HERO. Heroes are not only in magazines and televisions.  They are not also those who have powers only, instead you yourself could be a hero even though you don't have super powers.

          Being a hero is not seen on those super powers. If your a kind person, you could be also called hero. helping other with no doubts shows that you are kind and that shows also that could be their hero. 

          For me, those vendors are those modern heroes nowadays, why? Its because they need to woke up early just to cook for it then sell it outside. in that way they could earn money that could help them to buy food for their family also.  Doctors and nurses are also considered heroes because without them sick people will not be cured. They could be also awake even until midnight just to help those sick. 

          Heroes are everywhere we just can't recognize them even those ordinary person could be a hero of their own. So if you want to be a hero, always remember to be kind and help people who are in need. in that way you could be a hero even without super powers.

Buwan ng Wika 2012

          Every year we celebrate Buwan ng Wika and this year the the was "Tatag ng wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino." Manuel L. Quezon was the one who implemented Wikang Filipino.

          The theme this year talks about being a Filipino. It says aslo that using Filipino language will help them to be easily known. If they are using it usually the language will be promoted also. Here in the Philippines there are so many languages like Ilocano, Bicolano, Ilonggo, Cebuano and others but if they use Filipino language they will easily understand one another.

          December 30, 1937 this was the time when Manuel L. Quezon declared Filipino Language to be the official language of the Philippines or the "wikang pambansa". To be able not to waste their time promoting the language we must use it always.

First 2 Months in School.

          Its been 2 months since this school year started and there were so many things I learnes in my 2-month stay in school as a fourth year student.  In out ICT class I've learned making my own blog and post it in the internet.  I enjoyed doing it because doing it helps me practice my grammar, spellings and other things.  In this 2 months we've encountered so many problems and challenges specially when there are those contest and we need to ask for our teachers to excuse us in out classes just to practice in order for us to win.  After the contest we need to rush for our lessons even though we don't have enough time so we just tried having self-study at home just to coup up with our lessons.  There were times also that there were so many projects to be passed and there were no enough time to do all of it, so we need to stay in school even as late as 6:30 in the afternoon.  Sometimes we also go to school during Saturday just to finish those projects.  Sometimes we do 2 things at a time also like listening to the lecture while trying to finish the project. Moving on I will manage my time properly in order for me to finish all my projects and outputs on time.

State of the Nation Address 2012

        Last July 23, 2012, the third SONA or State of The Nation Address of President Benigno Aquino III was done at Batasan.  Some says that his SONA this year was much better than those he had done before.

        In his SONA he talked about the projects he have done and still be done. One of those projects was the 4P or Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program and also the additional fund for Education.  For me this programs will help a lot of people specially the 4P, this could help poor families because everymonth they will get a benefit that the could use for their needs in the family.  The additional fund for Education could help a lot of people because the shortage of classrooms will be lessen because ther will be funds for them to use to make classrooms and if there will be enough classrooms the students will be more punctual in going to school because they might be inspired because of their classrooms. So lets us just wait and see what will happen about PNoy's programs this year to make our country better.

July: Nutrition Month.

July was considered the Nutrition Month.  In our school we celebrate our Nutrition Month Festival and the theme for this year was, "Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain."  For me they did this as the theme because they want to encourage children to eat vegetables everytime because nowadays children would prefer eating meat and those processed foods than eating nutritious foods like fruits and vegetables.  They just don't know that vegetables could give them the proper nourish they need and can help them also to prevent sickness.  Vegetables was the best food to be eaten by people specially the children so that they could also gain knowledge, energy, nourish and other things to make their lives better.  Parents must always cook vegetables so that their children will be eating vegetables always.

Mr. President:

                 Its been two years since you are elected as the president of the Republic of the Philippines and its not a secret to the people that you've done many things to make our country better. The "NO WANG-WANG" policy helps those in the government to maintain their discipline in the road because some uses wang-wang just to avoid traffic and that must not be done by government officials. In that case the motorist without wang-wang will be stock in traffics and thats unfair in their side. To be fair they must not all use wang-wang. 

                  Another one, its not also a secret that you are using the cigarette and for me you must not use that because the countrymen specially the youth might use cigarette also. They might use that because they can say that even the president cab use cigarette why can't they. I think using cigarette can't be a good influence to them.

                    Sir I didn't mind to offend you or hurt your feelings but I'm sorry if I said something wrong. I'm just telling my opinion. Thank you for reading. Good Day!
